India has many museums and many monuments. I have visited many monuments. i have visited India Gate with my cousins, granny, grandpa and relatives. we had much fun there. My cousins' grandpa bought glowing horns for us and we wore them. we walked to India Gate chain and posed and took photographs. Then, we went to the Rail Museum. It was a school tour, when we reached, there was a board on which was written so many things. there was canteen, swimming poll and trains to see. we went to teh museum, many kinds of trains. when we went inside, we had fun seeing it. many old engines and some real and some models.there weree many stations and hills in thermocol and cardboard. then we came out, there was s train on the rail. before we sat on it, we were on a line. there was a weighing mac hines near the train. but we had no coin, so we could not check our weight. just then the train arrived. a simple train for teachers and kids and visitors. we sat and the train moved. we saw many things outside, very green. there was tunnel and everyone shouted ooohhh...
Then we came out of the tunnel after sometime and the train ride ended. then we went to the canteen. our teachers asked if we liked to have water, as our water bottle had finished. we went to the teacher, drank water. our teachers also bought mango drinks for us and we left for the bus. then we drank our mango drinks.
then, the bus took us to qutub minar. when we reached there, we saw the top of the qutub minar. we walked for sometime and we reached the gate.w e wenet inside and there was many steps to climb to get to qutub minar. when we reached near the qutub minar, our teacher told us who made the minar. they told us the top of the minar was made in marble. it was very high and it had many steps. almost 1000 steps. the teacher told us that if we go to the top, we'll see the sun very near and the people will be very very far away.
then we walked ahead. there were some gates, which were broken. I asked why they were broken, my friends said someone broke it. then we reached alai minar. the architect was the same who made qutub minar. alai means half. he could not complete the whoel builidng, as he died before completing it. he asked another architect to complete it, but the architect also could not ocmplete it, as he fell down to death when he was making it. as it is completed only in half, it is called alai minar.
Then we reached iron pillar. it weighed 7 tons. it was not very tall. then, we walked ahead and when we felt tired because it was a hot day, we sat under a tree and started talking. just then, our teacher said we will go near alai minar.
then we reached the garden near alai minar and sat there. our teacher had bought some sheet for competition. they divided us into groups, green, blue, yellow. i was in the green group. our teachers gave us sheets. first, he gaves us sheet for matching, solving puzzles and then circling words. after that, we got our drawign sheet. my friends tried to draw alai minar, but they could not draw the stones. my friend tried it. but could not make it so she made iron pillar.
